As a Technical Project Manager specializing in our Derivatives Trading Exchange, you will be a crucial leader in our Engineering department, driving innovation and efficiency. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Lead Strategic Initiatives: Spearhead complex, large-scale technology projects from initial discovery through to successful launch, ensuring seamless collaboration across engineering, product, and business units.
• Drive Project Execution: Proactively manage the entire project lifecycle, meticulously tracking progress, resolving critical dependencies, mitigating potential risks, and providing clear, consistent status updates to all stakeholders and leadership.
• Empower Development Teams: Collaborate closely with development teams to accurately scope projects, define achievable milestones, effectively manage resource allocation, enhance deployment workflows, and foster an environment of knowledge sharing.
• Drive Data-Informed Decisions: Establish, monitor, and analyze key metrics around initiatives, leveraging data insights to guide strategic direction and measure overall success and impact.
• Orchestrate Tech & Business Alignment: Ensure a harmonious alignment between technology initiatives and core business feature delivery, coordinating efforts between teams to strike an optimal balance between technical robustness and business priorities.
• High-Quality Documentation: Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive, high-quality technical documentation tailored for diverse audiences, including essential production support playbooks and detailed API guides.

We are looking for a senior professional with a strong technical background and exceptional leadership skills. The ideal candidate will meet the following minimum requirements:

• A minimum of 8+ years of extensive software project management experience, with a strong preference for domain knowledge in crypto trading or exchange platforms.
• A profound understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), intricate system architecture, and robust infrastructure.
• Solid comprehension of API and FIX protocol usage within a high-volume trading environment.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across all business units.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, coupled with a proven ability to align disparate groups towards common strategic goals.
• A proactive, self-starting, and ‘can-do’ attitude, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent verbal and written English is essential for effective communication in an international team.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Exposure to Waterfall and Agile development methodologies; experience as a Scrum Master is a significant plus.
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese is beneficial, as this role involves frequent interaction with key business partners across the APAC region.
• Expertise with industry-standard project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
