📄 Job Description
- Driving discussions with Product Managers and Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand processes, identify problems, and negotiate optimal solution scenarios.
- Performing comprehensive cost-benefit analyses on various technology solutions to guide strategic decisions.
- Informing business decisions through insightful and relevant data analysis.
- Actively engaging Product Managers and Business SMEs to translate complex solution needs into actionable user stories.
- Facilitating and supporting efficient product backlog management.
- Partnering with Product Managers and Business SMEs to meticulously define and refine acceptance criteria.
- Collaborating with developers to review user stories for clarity, understanding, and accurate scoring.
- Drafting both technical documentation and non-functional requirements that describe system behavior and establish functional constraints.
- Writing precise test cases for user stories to ensure quality.
- Performing and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure functionality meets business needs prior to each product release.
- Securing approval and managing change activities with the Product Manager before product releases.
- Analyzing and modeling business processes to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement in IT products and services.
📌 Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of hands-on business analysis or project management experience.
- Extensive experience within the payments industry (e.g., Payment Schemes, PSPs).
- Demonstrated experience with, or a strong interest in, blockchain technologies.
- Proven ability to gather and consolidate requirements effectively from cross-functional groups.
- Exceptional attention to detail and robust problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across business and technical teams.
- Superior process and organizational skills, coupled with the ability to mobilize and drive change.
- Advanced knowledge of project/product management platforms (JIRA & Confluence strongly preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in common data-manipulation tools (e.g., SQL, Google Sheets).
- Advanced knowledge of data analytics platforms (Looker preferred).
- Experienced in both lean and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Desirable Skills:
- IIBA-CCBA certification.
- Basic proficiency in at least one commonly used backend programming language (e.g., Python, Node.JS, Java, PHP, GO, C#, C++).
- Familiarity with version control tools and proper branching techniques (Gitlab preferred).
- Experience working with data warehouses (e.g., Google Cloud BigQuery), data governance, payments, treasury, or capital markets systems.
